Chemical Engineering Department of S. S.Agrawal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Navsari had organized an Industrial Visit Amul Dairy , Anand on 30th August 2019 . A total 65 students from Chemical Engineering Department and 05 Faculties visited the Amul Dairy Plant.Students visited 3 different sections of AMUL Dairy Plant: Milk process unit, Milk powder plant, Amul Chocolates Plant. The technical team of Amul Dairy has explained automation of dairy through presentation containing many functional block diagrams and existing computerized controlled machineries.

Agrawal Institute of Engineering and Technology had organised a Lecture on Topic “GATE PREPARATION” on dated 23/09/2019 for Third and Fourth Year Chemical Engineering Students.The Seminar was presented by Prof.Harpalsinh Jadeja.In the session, students were informed about the GATE paper pattern with weightage of subjects, importance of GATE score in different PSU’S ,PG and PhD programmes , entrance for DRDO,other government & private jobs with amazing facts and figures to which students were left perplexed.

- Prof. Heena Katariya had published the paper on “Preparation and characterization of microporous membrane by phase Inversion technique for advanced waste water treatment” in green chemistry and technology for sustainable developement on Jan'19.
Final Year Students of Chemical Engineering Department made the handmade sanitizer from alcohol and other material. Our campus was sanitized by use of this sanitizer. Our sanitizer information was also broadcast on News channel like Tv9 and Gujarati news channel on 21 march 2020.
